Don't see any original information, much less any critique here. The first part is a retelling of Hertzfeld's story of QuickDraw, then there's Atkinson's commented source for Round Rects, then comes some excerpts from Inside Macintosh, then comes a digression on squircles.

Where's the code critique?  ???
