Apple Technical Information Source CDs

(1/1)

ried:
I was not aware of this until recently, and am posting it in case it helps others in the future. Apple released their "Technical Information Source" CDs in the early 90s. They contain both Lisa Office System and Macintosh System disk images in the DART format, and come bundled with the DART application on the CD. This make it trivially easy to pop the CD into something like a Macintosh SE/30 with an attached CD-ROM drive and create LOS 3.1 installation disks - along with all of the bundled Lisa 7/7 apps.

The 1990 edition of the Apple Technical Information Source CD also features the Macintosh Migration Kit for the Mac XL, among other things. Very useful archive.
