Request for BlueSCSI config files
« on: March 15, 2025, 11:20:25 am »

Can anyone share an example set of config files for the BlueSCSI that you have working on a LISA XL?

The NE4.hda instructions say "in the example" then fail to give an example for setting the SCSI ID.

A tested and working set of config files, especially running DaynaPORT would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

For basic hard drive emulation, you just put a hard disk image called HDx IMAGE_NAME.hda, where x is your desired SCSI ID. So if you want it to be assigned to SCSI ID 6, then make that HD6 IMAGE_NAME.hda. You shouldn't need to modify the config files for simply emulating a hard drive for on Lisa.

For DaynaPORT, put the following in your bluescsi.ini file:

[SCSI]
WiFiSSID=myssid
WiFiPassword=mypassword

Of course, you'll need to replace myssid and mypassword with the SSID and password for your WiFi network!

Then make an empty file on the SD card called NEx.hda, where x is the SCSI ID that you want the DaynaPORT interface to be connected to.

That should be everything that you have to do, other than initializing your emulated drive in MacWorks and installing the DaynaPORT drivers!
