Does anyone know the file size limit on HFS/MacWorks II+?

I have a ~600k file that copies fine on Baslisk II but not from an 800k image to the Lisa profile (FloppyEMU to ESProfile)

file size limit on HFS?

The maximum file size on an HFS volume is 2 GB.

On an MFS volume the limit is 20 MB - 400k disks are usually formatted as MFS, as are all disks initialized by Systems earlier than 2.1

By holding down the option key when clicking Initialize for a floppy disk, one can toggle the default of MFS for 400k and HFS for 800k.
Note that MW+ versions up through 1.1h aren't aware of this possibility and can mishandle the rare combinations of HFS 400k and MFS 800k disks. MW+II examines the disk to determine which format it has.

When the file does not copy, is there an error message?
