XLerator and Mac OS 7.1?

Is the 16mhz XLerator and Mac OS 7.1 compatible?


I have it running under system 6.0.8 but under 7.1 when I open the control panel I get "type -39".

I am running V2.3.0 MacWorks Plus II V 2.5.0 Pro

Error -39 appears to be "end of file" suggesting something is corrupted, either on the disk if the behaviour is consistent, or a hardware communication problem with the disk if it isn't.
