Max ESProfile Image (volume) Size?

Or perhaps it is the case that no files were opened from the SD card because the System was booted from your SCSI drive. If that's the case, then there is a mystery why the external parallel drive did not show up with the newly created file (requiring you to boot with another SD card installed). Perhaps the ESProFile documentation mentions required specifics regarding file attributes or something like that, or perhaps there is a newer version of its firmware?

Yes, I have 2 ESProfiles (one internal one external) plus the BlueSCSI. MW starts from the internal and boots to the SCSI.
So I made and formatted a 200meg image today and had almost the same issue.
MW+II installer saw the External Profile and started the init of the raw blank file but I knew something was up because the green LED on the external profile just blinked in a steady pattern. After 3 hrs I gave up started the process again and this time I changed SD cards and the format worked fine.
This seems very odd to me.
I will try another run at it tomorrow.
Here is a DRAFT of the guide I am making (attached PDF)

The MacWorks initialize procedure involves writing to every sector on the volume, so 3 hours of consistent blinking may be normal for a 200 MB volume -- it may have been proceeding correctly. Or maybe not; tabulating some statistics on how long it takes to initialize various sizes of volumes using various emulators on various ports would be useful.
If it initialized quickly using the sleight-of-hand "swap the SD card without the OS knowing" technique, I wonder if the target initialized to the size of the volume on the first SD card rather than the second. Examine the size of the resulting volume after restarting to confirm.
I suppose there is also a possibility that the one SD card is functional but encountering particularly slow writes due to some defect.

Second 200meg volume is working great.
Where would you want me to post the formatting instructions?

Excellent, good to hear you got it working.
I suspect the most likely place for someone to look for those instructions would be the ESProFile github: https://github.com/alexthecat123/ESProFile.

Yeah, if you attach your finalized version of the instructions here, I can put them in the repo!
