LISA packaging.

There's an early model Lisa 2 for sale on eBay. And it has a somewhat distressed original box. However, I noticed that it used a slide-out pull tray.

The packing material uses the expandable foam, which covers everything, and apparently the Lisa was shipped with the monitor facing downward, which makes sense from a logistical aspect.

Anyway, the reason I ask is, I handled a lot of LISAs back in the day, many inside of original boxes.  I seem to recall the thick beige or blue foam end caps version, which use the knock out of the side profile twisted and glued.  More curious is the sticker on the box states it's LISA 1, but again the packaging seems to be thought through like a LISA 2 once they figured out the whole packing and shipping shtick.

Either way, I'd be curious if anybody else is familiar with this or the foam version being the more common. I realize it may be a bit pedantic, but I'm just curious about the lineage of the various components and evolution of the LISA 1 to LISA 2 to XL. Remember, I'm the one critiquing period correct matching.

While I have your attention, my packing keepsake/curiosity is a large plain vanilla white box from Apple going to one of the large accounting firms in NYC.  The basic box shipped from one of the field offices in MA, suggests an early inhouse release. (just an assumption)

My Lisa 2/10 was first sold as a SunRem Macintosh XL to my high school, and it came to my high school in this kind of box. I had it at home for a while, stored in the garage, but unfortuantely a water line broke and doused it. It was unrecoverable.
