Just saw this ebay listing: "Classic Lisa's Mouse 1:1 Replica":
https://www.ebay.com/itm/366177513413 . Seller located in Hong Kong.

It looks really authentic on the pictures, even has the usual dirt on the label. I assume the photos are of the replica, I don't see a good reason for them to post photos of a real mouse.

Someone put a lot of effort into making this, similar to the Lisa 1 front bezel replica, but this is even more complicated, as it has a PCB inside, along with numerous plastic pieces.

The seller, Calvin, is the same person who also made and sold me a modern PSU replacement. I have several examples that he made, and their performance has been inconsistent. Still, a genuinely impressive effort and they mostly work. I'm sure he's improved on them since.

I would be curious to see the innards of his replica mouse. As with the replica bezels made by MacEffects, I would feel a lot better about them if they had "replica" or similar markings. While I don't expect anyone to intentionally try passing them off as originals, and they can certainly be discerned from the real thing upon close inspection, someone who inherits one down the line might be unaware of the origin and assume it is genuine. Slippery slope, that.

I agree, there should be some sort of 'tell' that it is a reproduction.

I was excited to order one until I saw the price.

I LOVE my modern look-alike LISA mouse.
