VintageMicros under new management?

This may be well-known but it is news to me if true. Someone on 68KMLA reports being unable to get a rectangular pixel PROM from them owing to them having "ended business".

The VintageMicros website appears to be operating as normal.

As far as I know, John Woodall has very recently formally retired, and the business is in the process of being transferred to another Lisa enthusiast.

I don't know the timeframe or specific nature/extent of the resumption of operations, but I believe it will happen.

In the interim, I may be able to help out by suppling a small quantity of a very short list of Lisa specific items (eg. ROMs, PROMs, PFGs) to addresses in Canada... shipping to USA is currently an awkward, complicated and frequently changing complication. Inquiries should be sent via DM here or email: I can't supply any circuit boards, power supplies, floppy drives, etc., and may easily be overwhelmed by requests, so keep your expectations low.

There are various EPROM - PROM adapter designs that I suspect will work fine for this purpose, but I do not have experience with any... has anyone tried one?

I can confirm that John Woodall has retired.  Last week I helped to move all VintageMicro's inventory to a new location over a thousand miles away from John's former shop.  VintageMicro's will still be an ongoing concern with a new owner.  Until the dust settles on the move and some other business details are sorted-out, new sales are currently halted.
