Another Lisa, another problem

Picked up another Lisa 2/10.  It looks to be in great shape.
Opened it up and found an AST RamStak.
Looked it over and found a bent pin on the ram chip at C87.
Pulled the chip, straightened the leg and gave it a try in a different Lisa and it worked.
Turns out it's a 2mb Lisa ram board.
Not sure how common these are, but its the first one I've held in my hand.

The Lisa booted to the screen pictured below.
I systematically switched out every board with known working boards and found the culprit to be the CPU Board.

The board looks to be in great shape, but who knows.
Taking the easy path first, I'm reseating and then swapping out the ROMS, just to rule them out.
Early days.

Great find with the AST RamStak! All RamStaks can accommodate up to 2MB of memory, and the W1 jumper allows you to configure it for single board use. User manual attached for reference.

It looks like the CPU board isn't executing the boot ROM. I'd start by re-seating the ROMs and cleaning both the board edge connector and the Lisa motherboard's socket, then ensuring the CPU board is evenly seated in it. If it's still not executing the boot ROM, you might consider carefully swapping out the 68000 CPU if you have another handy.

Thanks for the manual. I didn't know about the jumper!

Reads a bit like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Do Not Panic!).

I'll try swapping out the CPU.

First check the Reset capacitor C8 next to the CPU.

Swapped all of the ROMs and CPU from known good board with no result.
Ordered a new 2.2uF 50v capacitor for C8.

If you don't have a replacement at hand to test the C8 theory, measure the voltage on the /HALT line at U2E-1, if it is stuck low, then C8 is a likely suspect.

If you don't have a simple way to access the signal while power is on, solder or clip a wire to U2E so you can measure the voltage from outside the assembled machine.
