There is an old post (https://lisalist2.com/index.php/topic,233.msg1775.html#msg1775/) discussing a Lisa mouse prototype with SN#378. It was part of a Lisa Proto sold on eBay in 2021 (https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/prototype-apple-lisa-prototype-mouse-3892899985/)
There is a similar mouse (SN#170) (https://www.computerhistory.org/collections/catalog/X2436.2002C) at the Computer History Museum in Mountain view.
Well a friend of mine recently acquired yet another one of those, with SN#372 !! I was lucky to put my hands on it and take side-by-side pics. See below
From the top, the proto (left) seems more gray that beige

And here is the bottom. Note 3 screws vs 2, and of course the non-removable ball on the proto

PCB: The encoder wheels are below the PCB in the proto

Really interesting to see side by side, thank you for sharing
Does anyone have a Rev 0.1?

Very cool, thanks for sharing.
I'd bet this is a later-stage prototype; early or non-final boards commonly have a "SK" designation, but this one is labeled just like the production model. Interesting.
