Title: "IWMless" may be a possible replacement for the IWM on the 2/10 I/O Board

Today I discovered the IWMless project on AppleFritter (https://www.applefritter.com/content/iwmless-iwm-substitution-beta-test-launched), now in beta testing.

AFAICT, it is designed as a drop-in substitute for the IWM on the Apple IIc, and I'm hoping it will also work to replace the IWM on the Lisa 2/10 I/O Board.

If it proves unsuitable for some reason, e.g. if the Lisa (like the Mac) uses the modes that the IWMless does not emulate, then there is another effort underway here, this one targeting Macs:

I seem to recall that if you read ahead in the thread, the goal changed to simply making an IWM clone without the drive emulation.

Must be something in the air that's tempting people to clone this famous IC...
