LisaFPGA Case — a 3D-printable "pizza box" for your LisaFPGA (Rev 3)Hey everyone,
Some of you have followed my case progress over in the main LisaFPGA thread (https://lisalist2.com/index.php/topic,694.0.html) — thanks for the interest! I'm giving it its own thread here so the case chatter doesn't crowd out the board discussion.
Quick recap if you're just seeing this: my LisaFPGA had been sitting on the bench without a case since there wasn't one at launch, so I fired up Fusion and made a simple one. It's finished now, and the files are up for anyone who wants to print one.
It's a basic slab / "pizza box" style enclosure:
- Cutouts for all the ports, except the 4-pin twiggy header. **
- Lift-off lid for quick access to the switches, jumpers, and LEDs
- Vents over the FPGA for cooling, plus a grille over the speaker
- Four M3 bosses that line up with the board's mounting holes
- A black & white "LisaFPGA" badge for the lid

I have no Twiggy drives and I needed the extra plastic for strength of the case on right side, so I decided to omit the opening for header.I printed and verified mine on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/x1-carbon) in PETG HF (Beige) on a smooth PEI plate. The repo has a ready-to-slice .3mf laid out for the X1C, plus separate tray and lid STLs if you're on another printer. Supports are required (already enabled in the .3mf).

Below are photos of the case in use. The lid appears slightly unusual in the photo. I ran out of the beige filament halfway through printing the current design, which is why half of the lid is white. I had already used two other rolls of beige filament in an attempt to achieve the correct fit for the PCB. I plan to print another case in a solid color once I order more filament.
