I've had a manual for the Lisa Compugraphic application on bitsavers for a while, now a machine and several
profiles are on eBay from seller 'mudsharkbytes'
I'm hesitant to go after this on the chance that the profiles would have the software on them.
Is anyone else going to go after the disks, or has the software already turned up anywhere else?
The software is here:
https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/lisacompose
I never installed it myself, not sure what good it is without the typesetter it drives..
I'm not, but those stickers look like company property stickers, rather than product stickers, so if you get really lucky they might have sources. Or they might have nothing of value. Might be worth reaching out to the seller to see if they're willing to take an offer or image them, etc.
Tempting if I still lived in the USA...
I am planning to try an install of the software one of these days. It seems like it'll print to an ImageWriter based on the docs; I'm wondering if it'll print to my inkjet printer too.
I almost put a bid in... Can't trust a seller with bad feedback though. If I remember correctly CGCompose does indeed also print to ImageWriters.
Sorry for the thread necromancy, but someone posted on reddit about having acquired a profile HD with a compugraphic asset tag on it. I wonder if it is from the system discussed here?

When checking to see whether this software might be something not yet archived, I found this thread with all the "right" people involved already. ;) So in case you hadn't seen already and are interested, maybe you can reach out to the poster.
Cheers
