I thought that too - the HWG says this, but every Lisa keyboard I saw had an intel chip in the keyboard instead. So COPS chips are likely only available on the Lisa I/O boards, and nowhere else. Well, at least COPS chips programmed for Lisas (since they're microcontrollers.)

I have one Lisa that had a battery leak, and one of the things affected was the ability to turn the Lisa off. Mine would just keep re-powering itself back on after being told to shut down. So I had to pull the power plug to get it to turn off. I don't think the COPS itself was damaged as it's sealed in plastic/ceramics/etc. But the stuff from the NiCD batteries likely ate some of the leads on the board.
