As many know, the Mac XL with an 800k drive has difficulty re-initializing a floppy disk, so disks must be either previously unformatted or only erased.
The Lisa 2 doesn't have this problem, to the best of my knowledge.
I believe a Mac XL with a 400k drive and running MacWorks Plus/II (or any other environment) does not have the same problem... anyone know/believe that it does?
Thanks,
James
