The I/O board ROM differs according to the type of board and type of floppy.
>Now, the chip at 11E is NOT a WD2001. It's a 29LS32.
The I/O board for the 2/10 is different from the 2/5, so their schematics differ...
The 2/5 I/O board has the 29LS32 at 11E, and the empty 24 pin socket is labelled 9512; it has no WD2001. This might be labelled as a Lisa 1 I/O board.
There is a location for a 28 pin WD2001 on the 2/10 I/O board; it has no battery. If this is labelled as a Lisa 1 I/O board, that is an error... look for a different set of schematics.
The 9512 and WD2001 were simple math processors, which were never supported in software as far as I know.

Once you've dealt with the battery corrosion issue, a bad/dirty
backplane/motherboard connection is often the cause of an I/O board
self-test error, but I'd suspect the corrosion issue first.
Good luck!
