I've had the opposite experience. I've written Lisa disks that my
Lisa's can read from a variety of 1.44M superdrive Mac's including:
IIcx, IIsi, PPC7100, PowerBook 165, PowerBook 5300, and TAM. I was also
able to take disk modified by the Lisas and read them on the same Macs.
