Thanks for the reply.

I think the original DART authors will have (had?) sources for everything for this program including the compression code. Even if the compression code is in a file resource fork segment, it does not mean the resource fork segment is pre-built library. From what I recall from an internal Apple memo from the 1980s Apple wanted the sources for everything in its programs so that Apple would have complete control over the programs in case there were problems Apple needed to fix.

I may be 100% wrong here regarding DART, but think contacting the DART authors could be beneficial. I will contact them tomorrow.
