Hi Tim,
I’ve been in touch with Steve the last few days, and narrowed down the last known-working Lisa 2/5 firmware to be ‘lisa-emu-1.0S7-F11’. That firmware can be found at Steve’s homepage. I installed it today, and successfully installed LOS 3.1 from disk image to my questionable ProFile without issue. Hopefully you’ll have the same success.
