Rebecca,

I am suprised that the Lisa font character bitmap images are compressed.

I guess these fonts took up too much space and Apple had to compress them. I wonder if this compression was needed due to some length limit in the font format, or if the Office System disks were getting full. Recall that the Lisa originally came with 2 860KB Twiggy drives and a hard drive was not technically needed, even though it made using the Lisa much easier.

Thanks for all your hard work. Looking forward to any info you can provide on the format.
