If you don't have any luck getting it fixed, and want to spend the money
to ship it (to the US), I'd be willing to give it a shot. You'd be
better off getting the
1.8 supply if you can.
Then again, the supply might be OK. The problem could very well be an
open
on the motherboard and/or the I/O board. That was why my Lisa would not
power up at first. Seems like the wiring associated with the +5V
standby supply
is particularly likely to corrode. Does your supply pop the fuse?
That switch turn the batteries off for storage.
