So maybe early versions of Sunos can read the disk. I've read that
Unix system 5 filesystem
is supported until solaris 8. Maybe solaris tools may help to read and
restore the disk.
Unfortunatly I do not have a sun worstation.
From what I've read from headers, the filesystem is system 5, but it
may have some customization.
