Not going to rule that out. But how is it that MacWorks installs and copies files just fine. I can still boot to it, install Mac stuff and it *seems* to run just fine. Is there something the Lisa OS can read from the drive hardware that is ignored by the Mac system? Some sort of threshold?

The widget drive is, for all intents, new. I have another widget drive original to this Lisa, but I think its shot. Maybe I will try it again. I dont think I had that drive in and tried to ever install MacWorks. I need a copy of the MacWorks installer to try that appleoption  (I think) open command to have it list all drive, not just mounted.

Ah the fun of restoring an old Lisa! Thanks for your help.
