I think he is great I got a keyboard from him couple years ago and the caps key was missing parts and he helped me out with the key cap, and even sent me a busted keyboard to get parts off of. one of the best sellers I have got parts from and I do a lot of buying of parts from people.

He has his bottom lines on what he can reasonably sell items for, while making a decent profit (enough to make it worth his while to continue doing so). If you're buying several items & you ask nicely - he might give you a slight/reasonable discount on some things, just don't expect it.

John was uninterested in haggling, and downright rude and abusive to his responses to me. I find him untrustworthy. This is not a judgement on his expertise - which semms top notch - but his client management skills.

When he states something is good working, it means he has personally tested the item. His time & his expertise = a better product than most sellers & of course a higher price. I know some collectors have attempted to haggle with John which leads to arguments if John won't go down. I suggest not trying to haggle (especially offering considerably lower prices than he's asking), it's like saying his time is worthless. It's insulting. Most of his items are very reasonably priced anyways.
