Personally, I find spamming a completely unrelated thread with your offer insulting, but that's just me. In addition, we have the right to offer whatever we want. If you don't like it, don't accept it. No one is forcing you to accept them. Also, I fail to see how lowballing something is any way, shape, or form "mak[ing] [fun]...of someone's financial situation when they're struggling to get by in this recession." Maybe you should go back to Economics 101, "The price is what the market will bear" comes to mind. By all means, if you don't like the offer, list it on eBay. But don't come here, list something, and then get mad at us for not giving you offers to your liking. YOU are the one who made the post, ergo, its your problem.
Putting that aside,
I'm pretty sure we were all kidding...so no need to get all up in arms
about. If you really think your things are worth what you claim, then
someone will make you a befitting offer. If not, then you're wrong
about the price.
