Be very careful at this point. This may be due to a blocked Widget motor, which draws too much current. Try to rotate the motor (the big wheel on the bottom) carefully by hand. It should move easily.
A stuck motor often results from a loose glass scale. There is a small glass plate with a graticule inside the drive, that is used as a reference for the head positioning system. It is glued to the base, and sometimes this glue breaks and the glass falls off. Shipping usually supports this process.
Carefully shake the drive and listen for rattling noises. If there is something inside the drive, do not apply power!
The scale needs to be attached to the drive frame in a clean room. After that, the drive needs to be formatted. You cannot fix this now, so put it away until someone can. NEVER NEVER NEVER attempt to open a drive outside the cleanroom !!! Dust inside the drive will not immediately kill it. But every time a dust particle hits the head, it will tick onto the drive surface and you'll get a bad block. And debris from the drive surface generate more particles, causing more bad blocks. You have 76 spare blocks, then you're gone.
