CPU board

I'm new on this list but have restored a couple of Lisas the last two years. However, the CPU-board stopped working on my Macintosh XL a few days ago. Since I have another board (not spare) I could pinpoint the problem to the CPU board but not the CPU itself or the ROMS on the board (those work when put in another CPU board). So, it's the traces of the board itself or the soldered ICs or components on it causing the problem I guess. The result is the computer starts (voltage is OK) but hangs directly with an empty (not black) screen. I hear a click and the floppy seems to be accessed, but nothing more happens. No icons or error codes or beeps. I tried to cut the leg of the C8 capacitor but it didn't work. Since I got this problem when the computer was on, I'm wondering if there's any "usual suspects" of the ICs and capacitors on the CPU board.

Any suggestions are welcome. Or if you have a spare CPU board without the CPU and ROMS to sell, I'm also interested.
