Re: 7/7 install failed on SUN REM drive

So I figured out my "install 7/7" problem. Basically the SUN REM drive was overheating. In fact I've never felt any piece of electronics get quite that hot, except for maybe a 12" G4 powerbook ;-)

The drive would work fine for a while and then begin to fail as it heated up. It wouldn't take long either ...maybe 30mins.

I have subsequently installed a fan and now everything keeps nice and cool.

Not sure if this is the same problem Joe was having with his Profile.
