Thanks for the several options. It would be fun to see if a Widget can be moved into a Profile Case for formatting, however I lack the EEPROMs and a Profile drive ! Sooner or later they will turn up on Ebay so I'll keep looking ! In the mean time I will take a closer look at the IDEFile option, I've taken a quick look, and I don't think it is beyond my skills, but to be honest it looks like the only viable alternative. The XProfile, looks just the ticket ! But I too cannot justify spending that amount when there are still other avenues to explore ! Writing a driver to boot LisaOS off scsi would be brilliant, however that would definately be pushing the skills envelope (for me at least). Still I might poke around a little and see what can be done. Was that Lisa Emulator project ever finished ? That could provide some useful clues.....
