This is why developers use explicit licenses, to clarify whether it's considered "nice" or not.

I agree with other posters' sentiments that more is usually achieved by cooperation than defaulting to an attitude of "competition" -- but it's your code, you get to decide. Try and label it "Do Not Use" more clearly next time.
