That is an I/O Board ROM with modifications that support a double sided 800K disk drive.

In essence, there are 5 versions of the I/O Board ROM, one for each of:

• Lisa 2 with 2 Twiggy Drives
• Lisa 2 with one 400K single sided Sony drive
• Lisa 2/10 (aka XL) with one 400K single sided Sony drive

Sun Remarketing later came up with the 800K double sided drive upgrade, so there were 2 more versions:

• Lisa 2 with one 800K double sided drive
• Lisa 2/10 (aka XL) with one 800K double sided drive

As well as the I/O Board ROM and the double sided drive, using an 800K drive requires one of these later operating environments:

• HFS-AL
• MacWorks Plus
• MacWorks Plus II

I think there may be more info in the LisaFaq, but it appears to be semi-broken at the moment.
