Hmm, have you found other opcodes that aren't handled properly in the bus error code?
I fixed this in LisaEm by adding an abort_opcode variable, so if any memory access triggers a bus error, the opcode should abort immediately. Of course, whether the order of operations is the same on Generator as on a real 68000 is a good question.
