If you boot MW+1.0.18 (eg. from a floppy), it may be able to mount the SCSI disk, it depends on the driver installed on the disk. Some will not load properly with less than 4MB of RAM. For best results, use a formatter/driver from the Mac Plus era.

BTW, versions of MacWorks prior to ~ MW+II 2.3.0 cannot run System 7. MW+1.0.18 is good up to System 6.0.2

Sounds correct, though the address looks funny to me. The stock SCSI card ROM is only there so MW+ can identify the card.

True.

Not usually: the Lisa predates SCSI, so the stock Lisa ROM has no idea what to do with it, and the stock SCSI card ROM has no code to execute.

Sun Remarketing expected you to load MW+ from a parallel port disk or from a floppy.

AFAIK, QuickBoot is the only way to "startup from" a SCSI drive... it replaces the stock SCSI card ROM:

For those new to this list, I have a financial interest in sales of QuickBoot, MW+II, the XLerator and the X/ProFile.
