When I get a chance I'll add the foil/tape trick to the document.

I was lucky; all my disks were useable.

Do you think a power supply repair document might be helpful?

One thing, is that the mylar disks can be replaced by aluminum foil disks, *but* they must be covered in tape. i.e. scotch tape on both sides to prevent them from shorting the traces on the keyboard. This is necessary some times when the mylar disks are badly damaged. When this happens, you'll see the silverish coating on them disappear and they'll look dotted or splotched.
