Correct. C8, together with R2, generates the reset pulse for the CPU.
Very often this capacitor gets leaky, and then /Reset is asserted
infinetly. You see a stripe pattern or checkerboard on the screen.
Without C8 you won't get the reset pulse, but the line is free so you
can use the pushbutton to start the CPU.
So i have short circuited the C8 capacitor.
I had the very same pattern on the screen that before :
As i press the reset button, the screen goes black and as i released
it is right away (1/15 sec) back to the same pattern.
It is so fast that i don't think that anything reset.
What next ? :)
