don't short it, cut one wire to it. shorting is electrically the same as a leak for capacitors.

So i have short circuited the C8 capacitor.
I had the very same pattern on the screen that before :

As i press the reset button, the screen goes black and as i released
it is right away (1/15 sec) back to the same pattern.
It is so fast that i don't think that anything reset.
