I personally have used .25" foam weather stripping. I'm not sure how long it will last but it's sticky on both sides already. You can stick strips to a mylar sheet on the open side (as you unroll it). Once you punch them out, you can peel the paper side and stick it to the old plastic disks. I've done 4 Lisa keyboards and a Sol-20 this way. Works great.
