I recently spent many hours with the Apple Lisa 1 and 2/5 replacement motherboard from Sapient Technologies, seen here:

The pictures there don't do it justice. It's well put together and has proven to be just as compatible as the factory motherboard. Based on this experience, I'm really looking forward to checking out the I/O, CPU, and other boards they're working on.
