VCF Midwest - what do you want to see?

I don't have the clear Lisa, but I wanted to display a working "case-less" Lisa using an external monitor, a power supply, the cable harnesses, and a card cage.   This way folks could see what is "inside" Lisa.  I could fill the card cage with the Sapient boards, and connect an X/Profile.

cool idea - the subframe would be the only issue as it encompasses nearly 80% of the electronics - a clear top and the back panel would provide the most ability to peek maybe a clear front bezel might be nice but unless it were an XL Widget or a Lisa 1 TWIGGY it would be somewhat empty.  Just spitballin' but for all impractical purposes, a "frameless" Lisa would be possible (and kinda neat) using primarily the wiring harness with plexiglass monitor/video board stand, power supply holder, and a panel for Softswitch and keyboard (probably best integrated on the monitor stand)

VCFs remind me of a computer hamfest - good times :)

A printing demo is a good idea!

You have Ray's printer, correct?  I was thinking of bringing Ray's Lisa that was the inspiration for LisaEm, do you think folks would be interested in that?

An ASMR track of Apple DMP or Imagewriter printing a multipage report would be kind of trippy - make for an interesting never-ending loop that is popular in today's shorts

Is anyone patient enough to wait for the Canon to finish a page? :)

As far as sound, nothing quite compares with the daisy wheel printing graphics. But that would use a lot of ribbon to have it chunking away all event.

I'd love to spend some more time with a L1, and listen to the sound of the twigges. This would get hard / impossible as the day goes on since it gets rather loud in the halls.

I'll see you there!
