Help with Lisa restoration. Screen out of focus
« on: February 28, 2025, 07:19:56 pm »

Hello everyone! :)

I would love some help from you knowledgeable folks.

My (new to me) Lisa has arrived. The seller said that when he powered it on it did nothing and made no sound.

I removed the power supply and all of the boards in the cage.

I tested the power supply using the tester posted on FB (attached), and it seems fine. STBY power is 5.6v

I cleaned all of the contacts on everything with DeoxIT, reassembled and with the drives removed and the ESProfile install IT BOOTS into MacWorks XL 4.5!!

The screen is out of focus. Following the Sun Do It Yourself Guide I checked the R34 voltage and I get 5.01 volts.

Ok so where do I go from here?

The screen is out of focus

Congrats on making quick progress!

Twiddle the two white knobs sticking out the back at the top of the PSU to see if the image can be improved.

Ha! Thank you!

I can't believe I forgot about that, I was all focused on the card.
