this is what I am getting:

Please select an option: .[2J.[HCommand confirmation failed!
It doesn't look like you have the diagnostic Z8 ROM fitted in your ProFile, which is needed for all commands in this menu.
Do you want to continue anyway (return for yes, 'n' to cancel)? .[2J.[H.[2J.[HESProFile Diagnostic Mode - Version 1.0

What menu option are you choosing? It sounds like you're choosing one of the ProFile diagnostic menus, which will give that error since your drive isn't a ProFile. Pick option J (Widget-Specific Commands) and you should be able to get a bit further. The "Command Confirmation Failed" error is still a bit worrying though, so let's see if we still get it when you pick the Widget menu.

Please attach the extracted dc42 file and perhaps a clue will appear...

The un-zip' and un-sit' match, so I surmise your downloads are working fine.

The issue appears to be that at some point FloppyEMU stopped recognizing sparse DC42 files as being valid. The documentation implies they should be recognized so I expect this is an oversight and since sparse files are very rare I suppose no-one has reported it.

I've uploaded a non-sparse DC42 that works (for me) with the recent version of femu... item (W) of http://www.sigmasevensystems.com/blu.html

Unzip and copy "BLU090_400k.dc42" to your FEMU memory card.
