Can MAC works plus 2 use McIntosh software to access the serial ports on the Lisa?

Yes.

There may be cabling considerations. The MW+II manual has some info: check the index entries for Serial and SCC.
Warning: Memory errors found. ECC non-functional. Verify comments if accuracy is important to you.
