The interview excerpts are divided into two parts. In Part I here, Ray discusses his LisaEm emulator, covering its history, development, and related insights. In Part II (out in a few days), he shifts focus to the Apple Lisa itself, exploring its history, sharing his opinions, and reflecting on its impact and significance.

I enjoyed the interview with Ray.

Interestingly, at 17:40 minutes he says that  LisaEm hangs or crashes when running Tom Stepleton's Mandelbrot program (from https://github.com/stepleton/LisaMandelbrot/tree/master/Solo) due to incomplete emulation of some 68000 cpu instruction. Well, it seems that he had figured it out, because it has been running fine for me (I am using a LisaEm build from https://github.com/arcanebyte/lisaem). If you are impatient, run it at 512Mhz from the "Throttle" menu. Cool.
