One of my Lisa's has a broken neck.

In searching this website and others it appears that my best bet for a replacement CRT would be the Goldstar tube from an Atari SM124 mono monitor.

I can't seem to find direct Clinton replacements for the model of the CRT in my poor 'Lisa with the broken neck' and was wondering if anyone was aware of other Clinton models that would work?  I realize the yoke from my broken CRT would have to be transferred, but other than the SM124 are there other options you may have found?

One last 'parts' question; years ago I picked up a couple of the knurled closure screw mechanisms for the back panel of a Lisa from John at Vintage Micros.  John called them Rear Panel Screw Locks.   Not knowing if/when Vintage Micros will start up again and if they still have those available, does anyone know a source for those items or a suitable substitute?

Thank you.

The original Lisa CRT is a Clinton CEULC99F1ATE, and very occasionally you'll be able to find NOS items on eBay from an industrial equipment supplier. I have not found another Clinton model that is a direct fit replacement, unfortunately.

If you don't mind using the Atari SM124 CRT, it's a very good drop-in replacement and I've put one of those into my Lisa 2/5 with good results. They're actually very nice CRTs and look at least as good as the Clinton originals, IMHO.

Good question on the rear panel screw locks. I'm not sure where those can be sourced anymore. Hopefully someone else knows.

Thanks for the info.  I watched Adrian Black try an 11" B&W TV on his 2/5 with mixed results but not much else out there for reference.  I think I'll go with the SM124 while those are still readily available and not too expensive.  I hate to cannibalize another piece of vintage electronics but I think most of the Atari 1040st, 520st, MegaST crowd go with the SC1224 if they're using Atari monitors so I don't feel too bad...
Thanks again.

I'll let you know.  I ordered a pair.  Not completely sure on the 'reach' but they look right and worth a try.

Thanks!

Thanks for directing me to these 'Cam Latch'es.
I received them today and just tested one on the back panel of a Lisa that was missing one.
I can report that the size and function is perfect.  It works great.
They look 'slightly' different as the knurled twist knob is a wee bit smaller, but if you installed two, I doubt anyone would be able to tell and even with just one installed you have to scrutinize carefully to tell they are different.
Very pleased.  Thanks once more!
