Hi,

I just acquired my first Lisa recently and I'm trying to learn more about it. It seems to be a Lisa 2/5. The original owner did not recall having it converted from a Lisa 1. I believe it was sold as a 2.

What components on the boards can be used to help ID the models we have?

Included is a pic of 2333 from the IO board.  What does this label tell us?

Since it is the 400k version, one might assume the computer did not have the Sun Remarketing 800k floppy upgrade.

However, since the boards and the socketed EPROMs can be moved between computers easily, one can't be definite about the rest of the computer, so check it over to see what the rest of the hardware is. You may find a mismatch with the floppy type, or even a complete mismatch with some 2/10 and 2/5 parts.

A better sign of a conversion is looking for the cut resistor stubs (at R47 if I recall).

What's the serial number, applenet, and build date of your system? I can add them to the tracking sheet.
