The Lisa Video Board is based on the TDA1170N video deflection chip.

Parts on the video board or schematic Rev J include:

  • TDA1170N
  • BU406
  • 1N4936
  • MPSU05
  • Bourns 3352T (trimpots)
  • 2N4265
  • D40N2
  • DT230H
  • RGP01-12

Note that as the revisions of the board progressed, various parts were removed (leaving unpopulated locations on the unchanged PCB). So it is normal to have a not fully populated video board, and some parts need not be replaced if damaged (in particular the adjustable inductor L3 which is prone to breaking off).

In addition to replacing the trimpots (or cleaning them), other common repairs include replacing the 7824 voltage regulator (use the full current version as specified on schematic Rev J if you are replacing a 78M24 or similar), and the BU406 switching transistor.
