Me too. Aside from the CHM and Digibarn color card photos, I've never seen one or heard of its use case. Presumably it would be for color video out, but what software would use it? LOS never had color and Mac OS didn't get it until years later, of course.

LOS kinda had colour. It was in QuickDraw, and of course you could make colour images with LisaDraw. I always imagined that the colour card would have handled colours in a way that made it easy for existing QuickDraw code to use it.

Needless to say I would love to know more about the real deal.

Hi, and thanks for posting this bmwcyclist, I was just getting to it! I'm working hard now to get my YouTube channel going steadily, and I will slowly get all of the extended interviews from my documentary out. I just figured out how to add timelines to my videos and I'm trying hard to make better thumbnails, so here's the improved one for James' interview.
