Lisa Reversi 1.0 -- Reversi against the Lisa, for the Office System

Reversi on an 8 x 8 QuickDraw board, you against the Lisa.

Click a cell or steer a cursor with the keypad; dots show your legal moves; U takes moves back all the way to the opening; S switches sides so the Lisa opens as black. Four levels set how many moves ahead she looks, and at the two harder levels she plays the last eight or nine moves of the game perfectly. The panel keeps the score, the last moves and how many positions she examined. On a stock 2/10 the hardest level takes three or four seconds a move; the easy levels are instant.

Installing

Mount the image, open the floppy, drag or duplicate Lisa Reversi onto your hard disk. Nothing else to copy.

 Tested on the LisaFPGA and a Lisa 2/10 under LOS 3.1. Tool 419309.

For the curious: negamax with alpha-beta, one to four plies, the score is carried down the recursion so the last ply costs no board copy; a positional weight table until the last twelve empties, then disc counting, then an exact search to the last disc. All in Lisa Pascal.
