Lisa Office install problem

I have been restoring a Lisa 2/5 and have it to the point where it's passing all diagnostics, both internal and LisaTest. It boots MacWorks XL just fine and runs MacOS, applications, etc.

However, no matter what I've tried I cannot get Lisa Office System to initialize the hard disk. I have two known-good ProFiles that were freshly low-level formatted and qualified on my Apple III. Both pass the format and diagnostics. MacXL has no problem formatting and setting them up.

Why is Lisa Office giving me such a hard time?
