Image the disks before using and back the original image up. Install Los 2.0 and try to use the application, if it complains it has been serialized.  You can then use the same instructions with lisafsh-tool to deserialize it. You could also look at the directory entries with lisafsh-tool and see if it has been serialized without installing.

Hello LisaList,
I just came into a LOS 2.0 package with original diskettes, and was curious to know the best (and safest) way to determine if they've been serialized yet. I found the instructions for de-serializing[1], so maybe using FEdit is the best way to confirm?  Thanks,James
